Save a video practice book as a bilingual PDF — NoaLingua
In short
Save a NoaLingua video practice book directly as a searchable PDF, then open it as a bilingual book with the original on the left and translation on the right.
Steps
- Create a Practice book from a captioned YouTube video.
- Open the book and choose Save as PDF beside Print.
- Wait for the searchable PDF to download and open in NoaLingua’s reader.
- Switch the reader theme if needed and work through the printable exercises before checking the final answer page.
Try this exercise
Save a short cooking-video book, search the PDF for one ingredient and compare its sentence in both languages.
Watch out for
Listening exercises stay on screen because paper cannot play audio. The PDF contains text and exercises, not the source video.
Check your result
The PDF opens without freezing the video, its text is searchable and both languages appear on the correct side.
A manageable session
Choose one short passage whose overall meaning you can follow. Decide what you want to practise before turning on a feature: hearing words, recalling their meaning or producing a sentence. Keep a note of the difficult moment instead of collecting every unfamiliar word. Stop when you can explain that passage without looking at its translation.
Come back to it
In your next session, try the same passage before opening the answer. If it is still difficult, shorten it and repeat the troublesome part. If it feels easy, use the expression in a new sentence or move to another passage. This is a suggested routine, not a promise of a particular learning speed.
Translation follows your chosen settings and may require an online provider. A printed exercise or exported subtitle file does not download the source video. Use material you are entitled to access and keep a backup before changing your vocabulary collection.
