What is next, without dates

Known gaps, roughly by how often they come up

• More than two platforms. YouTube and Netflix have dedicated adapters. Many other video sites serve ordinary HTML5 caption tracks, which is one adapter rather than eight, so this is tractable rather than aspirational.
• Finnish grammar tables. Missing for a mundane reason: the upstream dataset is published across two files and the downloader assumes one. For a language this heavily inflected it is the most conspicuous gap in coverage.
• The free-tier cap. Defined in the extension and not yet applied when you save, which is why the pricing page says so rather than describing a limit nobody reaches.
• Restoring a purchase by email. Built, and switched off until the email delivery behind it is configured. Until then it is support and a transaction id.

Things that are not coming

• A mobile app. This is a browser extension. A mobile app is a different product, and putting it on a roadmap would be a promise nobody could keep.
• A content catalogue. Licensing shows and courses is a different business. The premise here is that you already have the content you want to watch.
• Server-side AI over your subtitles. Sending what you watch to somebody else's model is exactly what this product exists not to do. The local chain — grammar packs, dictionary data, example corpora — answers the same questions offline.
• Grammar tables for Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai. Not a gap. They are analytic or isolating languages, and there is genuinely nothing to conjugate.

Why there are no dates

One person builds this. A roadmap with dates would either be missed or met by shipping something worse than it should have been, and neither is worth the reassurance a date provides.

What you can rely on instead: nothing already saved is ever taken away, export stays free at every tier, and the limits page is kept current rather than quietly trimmed when an entry becomes awkward.
