Pricing
What the product does is free. How much of it you collect is the subscription.
Every feature, every supported site, every game and every export format work on the free plan. The only thing a paid plan changes is how many words your deck can hold. That is unusual in this category, and it is deliberate — what the product does is free, how much of it you collect is the subscription.
The current build defines the cap but does not yet apply it when you save, so in practice nobody has reached it. We would rather tell you that than describe a limit that does not exist — even a flattering one.
What this means for you today: the free plan is the whole product with no practical limit. The plans below are what the product is moving to, and are already purchasable if you want to support the work.

What you get
The free column is the story
Most tools in this category put a small cap and a locked feature list behind the same paywall. That combination is what makes people feel tricked. Here there is one boundary, and it is a number.

Free, and staying free
- Every feature, every surface, every game and every panel.
- Reviewing, playing, editing and deleting everything already saved.
- Export — to Anki, CSV, a spreadsheet, or your whole profile as one JSON file.
- Marking words as known, which is how you shrink your own workload.
What paying changes
- The 100-word cap on your deck is removed.
If this list ever grows a second item, the pricing model has changed and this page is wrong. That is the intent.
Common questions
What actually changes when I pay?
Exactly one thing: the cap on how many words your deck holds is removed. Every feature, every supported site, every game and every export format already work on the free plan.
Who takes the payment?
Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record. That means Paddle is the seller on your receipt and handles VAT and sales tax registration and remittance. Prices are shown in euros and converted at checkout.
What happens to my words if I stop paying?
Nothing already saved is ever taken away. A deck can legitimately sit above the free cap — somebody who subscribed, saved 400 words and then lapsed keeps all 400. Reviewing, playing, editing, deleting and exporting all keep working.
Is export really free?
Yes, at every tier, at the cap, and for somebody who never pays. A study tool that can trap a year of your work is one nobody should trust.
How do I activate a purchase?
The checkout shows a transaction id when payment completes, and that id is your licence key — there is no separate email with a code. Paste it into the extension under Settings → Plan & licence.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days, no questions asked. Paddle refunds to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. Cancelling stops future charges, keeps your access for the period you paid for, and never deletes your deck.
Why is lifetime an honest option here?
Because NoaLingua runs on your own device. There are no per-user server costs to fund, so there is nothing that a one-time payment leaves unfunded. A lifetime plan is dishonest for a service with real running costs, and entirely honest for one without them.
